The people responsible for Foxhole, the popular war MMO on Steam, have recently conducted the second pre-alpha test of their latest project, the medieval MMORPG Anvil Empires, on Steam. This revealed the first gameplay.
What kind of game is it? In Anvil Empires, you are part of a whole, similar to the developer Siege Camp’s debut work, Foxhole. There you are a soldier in World War II, taking on various tasks ranging from logistics to combat in an existing world.
Anvil Empires is from the same developer, so it is not surprising that both games share many similarities. In the current MMORPG, however, your main goal is to build and manage a city, raid surrounding villages, and, of course, wage war against other kingdoms.
If you want to check out gameplay, there are already many videos on YouTube, but no comprehensive trailer for the current alpha yet:

What does the gameplay show? Meanwhile, the community has been very active and has created several gameplay videos for the second pre-alpha test. The material shown above is content from YouTuber MoiDawg and his endeavor to establish the first joint settlement.
In the following clip from YouTuber Morgeta, a battle can be admired, which reveals details about the combat system and process in the upcoming ISO-MMORPG:
How do you sign up as a tester? The developer Siege Camp regularly conducts tests for Anvil Empires. To participate in future tests, you should use the official Discord channel for Anvil Empires.
There, you can sign up for further test phases of the MMORPG when the time comes. Otherwise, Siege Camp advises keeping an eye on Steam for regular announcements.
When will the game be released? No statement can be made on this yet, as the game is officially in the pre-alpha phase. However, the war MMO Foxhole by Siege Camp also has a long way behind it in early access.
The early access is a mutual opportunity for developers and users to test the content and consider the feedback from fans, as was the case with the MMORPG Gloria Victis.
