In Destiny 2 there is a new leak regarding Season 7 – the Season of Opulence. Apparently, Destiny 1 Exotics are coming back, and there will be some sort of Escape Room.
In the past few days, a Community Summit took place at Bungie, where selected Guardians got a look at Season 7 content and were able to provide feedback.
Many were hoping in advance that during this event – despite NDAs – some information would leak out. However, participants like the streamer Gladd tweeted only that the visit to Bungie was a “wonderful experience” and that the studio is “really huge and impressive.”
What kind of leak is this? Just a few hours ago, a concrete leak about Season 7 surfaced. It is spreading like wildfire on the Destiny Reddit, and YouTubers have already reported on it.
Apparently, the information comes from the user “AnonTheNine,” who has previously been responsible for leaks that later turned out to be correct. Accordingly, Guardians are now eagerly absorbing the information he provides.

Story, Weapons, and Activities in Season 7 According to Leak
The information from the leak:
- The story in Season 7 takes the Guardians back to the Leviathan – the huge ship of Calus, where the first three Destiny 2 raids took place. There, the Guardians should discover the source of Calus’ power. There should be a teaser for the Darkness enemies that are supposed to come in Destiny 3. According to a leak about Destiny 3, Calus will lead a shadow faction.
- The Hawkmoon is returning. This was an exotic hand cannon from Destiny 1 that was extremely powerful in year 1. It combined elegance with power.
- The Oryx is returning. It was an exotic sword that could unleash a spiral of Void energy in all directions. The sword came with the Taken King in Destiny 1.
- Rose is coming as a weapon – once the weapon of Rezyl Azzir. However, this Guardian succumbed to the Darkness, became Dredgen Yor, and killed countless innocents with the Rose to consume their light. The Rose thus became the Thorn.
- A new pinnacle activity is currently codenamed “Dragonslayer.” It is a game mode reminiscent of an escape room. You have to solve puzzles while waves of enemies attack you. By the way, Dragonslayer is just the codename; Gambit Prime was codenamed “Mamba.”
The leaker will provide new leaks in exactly one week.

This information about Season 7, on the other hand, is confirmed: Alongside the usual new features such as an increase in power level, new weapons, armor pieces, and cosmetics, the highlights of Season 7 are:
- An exotic quest
- The event Solstice of Heroes
- A new 6-player activity with matchmaking (perhaps Dragonslayer?)
- A new raid
- Two unknown contents
- Improvements, such as a revamp of improvement cores
The Season 7 runs from June to August 2019.
