In the popular action RPG Path of Exile, a new league started on September 6th. In the Blight League, players must prevent the spread of a dangerous fungal infestation.
What’s happening in PoE right now? The league cycle of Path of Exile began again on September 6th. With the Blight League, Grinding Gear Games brings new content to Path of Exile, which revolves around eliminating the fungal infestation that is now spreading in Wraeclast.
You will be supported by the NPC Sister Cassia, who has invented a pump that allows her to suck out the rot. But many players were most excited about a new bar.

A combination of Tower Defense and A-RPG
How does the league work? Anyone who has ever played or seen a tower defense game will be able to find their way around in the new league immediately. It operates exactly according to that principle.
The fungal infestation spreads its tentacles in all directions from the main node, taking control of nearby monsters. These monsters move along the tentacles back to the node, where the pump of NPC Sister Cassia is located, with which the rot is pumped out.
The players’ task is to prevent the monsters from destroying the pump. Sister Cassia assists them by building various elemental turrets along the tentacles that exploit the weaknesses of the individual monsters.

- Daily master missions can now be collected and completed later
- Second bar for skills has been implemented
