Just in time for E3, EA wants to give an inside look at Anthem. However, not directly at E3, but at its own event.
Shortly before E3, which takes place in June of this year, EA is hosting its own little event. At EA Play, which runs from June 9 to 11 in Hollywood, the publisher will showcase all sorts of current and upcoming games.
Especially shooter fans should consider whether they will at least watch the event in the stream, as some EA titles will be playable for the first time there.
- The highlight of EA Play will likely be an “Inside Look” at the MMO shooter Anthem. After the presentation at E3, we should finally see new gameplay material for Anthem. What this “Inside Look” will specifically entail remains to be seen.
- Not much is known about the new Battlefield, although rumors of a “Bad Company 3” are increasing. Attendees at the event will be able to play the game.
- The upcoming games from EA Sports can also be played.
Anthem is seen by fans as a great alternative to popular games like Destiny (1&2), which could also come with an exciting story. Even though not many details are known about Anthem yet, the game is already considered a major hope.
Anthem has been eagerly anticipated since its announcement at E3 last year. Originally, the game was supposed to be released in autumn 2018, but EA has pushed that date to spring 2019. According to its own statement, it did so to avoid competition with its own Battlefield, which is set to release in autumn 2018.
Those who want to be there live only need to worry about transportation – tickets are free, though only available in limited quantities. Anyone wanting to secure one should keep an eye on the official EA website as soon as tickets become available.
Anthem is among our top MMOs for the near future:
