The manufacturer SecretLab has introduced a gaming desk that you can order for 449 euros. The desk offers cool lighting, cable management, and other interesting features. MeinMMO presents the desk to you.
If you enjoy gaming, you probably know the problem of using many devices at once. In addition to the gaming mouse and keyboard, a headset or charging cable for the controller or smartphone quickly comes into play. Others may also have a second mouse or additional accessories for gaming night.
With so many devices, the desk can quickly become quite messy, especially if you don’t want to put away your things every time.
Here, the manufacturer SecretLab wants to offer an option for gamers with its “Secretlab MAGNUS Metal Desk.” This is a desk that aims to take care of the organization on your desk. MeinMMO presents the desk to you.
The desk offers high-quality craftsmanship, cable management, and headset holder
This is what the gaming desk offers you: The desk provides some options to keep your future gaming space organized:
- A comprehensive magnetic cable management system. This allows you to elegantly hide and store all cables of your gaming system.
- The desk is wide enough for multiple screens and your desktop PC.
Additionally, the desk features a combination of fiberboard and steel. As a result, the desk is particularly resistant and is also said by the manufacturer to be scratch-proof. The desk itself is supposed to be able to easily support up to 100 kilograms.
Furthermore, the desk can be expanded with additional modules. You can order extra cable channels or cable holders for the desk. This way, you can equip your desk extensively. However, you will have to pay for the extensions, and they are not exclusive.
How much does the desk cost? In its basic configuration, the gaming desk from SecretLab costs 449 euros. However, additional costs will be incurred for extra expansions.
- For an additional “Secretlab Cable Management Bundle,” you will pay an extra 44 euros.
- For the “Secretlab Magnetic Cable Anchors,” which you can use to hold cables on the tabletop, you will also have to pay 19 euros extra.
- Additionally, you can purchase a mousepad, the “Secretlab MAGPAD Desk Mat” for 79 euros. It can be magnetically attached to the tabletop.
- You can also purchase RGB lighting for the desk. You will have to attach this yourself. The “Secretlab MAGRGB Diffused RGB Strip” costs at least 59 euros.
For the most extensive package, you will have to be willing to lay down around 600 euros. However, you will certainly have the tidiest desk among your gamer friends.
Has anyone tested the desk yet? The online magazine TweakTown has had the opportunity to examine the desk (via TweakTown.com).
They are quite impressed with the desk. The manufacturer has opted for an intelligent design, and the craftsmanship is well done. Tweaktown refers to the desk as the “Apple desk” among desks.
Similarly, the magazine T3.com sees it (via T3.com). You get a well-crafted desk made of metal that also offers good and well-thought-out cable management. However, the desk is so heavy that it can only be assembled by two people. T3.com also criticizes that additional additions cost extra, which is not insignificant at the base price of 449 euros.
What does the desk look like? You can see the entire desk in the official presentation video.

IKEA, Razer, and even Linus make gaming furniture
Not only SecretLab has gaming furniture on offer. The furniture giant IKEA has teamed up with manufacturer ASUS for a collaboration. Together, they intend to design gaming furniture and offer it to interested buyers. So far, these pieces of furniture are only available in China, but they are expected to be available for purchase in Germany in autumn 2021.
One special accessory from the Ikea furniture is surely a wooden hand. This gaming hand holds onto your cables or gaming headset as long as you are not at the desk.
Are there also more innovative gaming furniture? If you are looking for inspiration for your future gaming area, you can also check out Razer’s innovative gaming chair. This offers you a 60-inch rollout display with panoramic display and is supposed to shake you violently when a bomb explodes beside you in the game.
And if you don’t want to game at the desk or generally find chairs uninteresting, a Japanese company also has a solution for you. The company Bauhutte has introduced a gaming bed, from which you don’t even have to get up to game.
This bed even caught the attention of Linus from Linus Tech Tips, who wanted to order it, but unfortunately it was already sold out. Instead, Linus designed his own ultimate gaming bed, which consists entirely of IKEA furniture. So you can essentially also build it yourself the next time you visit IKEA.
