Enotria: The Last Song is being developed by the passionate studio Jyamma Games from Italy. The first teaser trailer was uploaded back in 2021, but anyone who hasn’t heard anything about the game up until now should definitely catch up.
What is Enotria? This souls-like takes you into a sun-kissed land heavily influenced by Italian folklore. The Canovaccio – an eternal game – has seized the world and holds it captive in an unnatural standstill.
As a Maskless, you are the only one free from a predetermined role and master of your own fate. Thus, you embark on a fight against the powerful authors of the game.
You collect various masks to gain new abilities and become the Mask of Change.

What does the trailer show? The trailer begins with an introduction to the story of Enotria. A kind of mask graveyard gives the impression that the world is marked by much grief. A wooden human doll hangs by threads above the masks. After you can briefly see its empty gaze, the doll reaches for a mask hovering in front of it. This seems to be the beginning of the journey of the Maskless.
The gameplay shows you a combat system inspired by other games like Dark Souls and Bloodborne. With various weapons and attack sequences, you engage in battles against different enemies.
Notably, the successful combination of a summery setting and the dark elements of a typical souls-like is striking, as everything seems almost like beautiful holiday shots of a sunny Italy … until you encounter the monsters.
