What kind of game is this? Riders Republic was first introduced at Ubisoft Forward in September 2020. The extreme sports MMO gained new momentum at E3 2021. You can expect activities such as bike racing, snowboarding, skateboarding, paragliding, and rocket wingsuits that you will use in competitive competitions.
A beta for selected testers has been running for several days now. During the gamescom 2021, the game’s team announced that the beta is now an open beta and its duration has been extended. We’ll show you everything you need to know about the open beta of Riders Republic.

How can you sign up? If you want to participate in the open beta of Riders Republic, you can register on the official website of the game (via ubisoft.com).
How long will the beta last? You have until August 28 to participate in the open beta.

What is Riders Republic and why is it an MMO?
What we know: Riders Republic throws up to 50 players into a shared game world. This world is inspired by American national parks that are suitable for competitive sports.
If you want, you can compete against other players directly in this open world. There are also game modes in 6v6, free-for-all with up to 12 players, or the versus mode, where you can challenge your friends directly.
With your character, which you can customize, you will participate in the sports competitions that interest you. You can expect:
- A career mode in which you can unlock milestones and new competitions
- A 6v6 team competition mode where special tricks are used to compete for points.
- Free-for-all with 12 players
- The versus mode against friends
- The City Playground – Here you can move freely, perform tricks, and interact with other players
With these activities, you can unlock equipment, outfits, and cosmetic items. MeinMMO author Alexander Leitsch says: Riders Republic sounds like a really good new MMO if you don’t feel like fighting.
When will Riders Republic be released? Riders Republic will be released on October 28, 2021. The game will be available on PS4 / PS5, Xbox One / Xbox Series, and PC (Ubisoft Store, Epic Games Store, Stadia).
