After the New Year event 2020, there has been a new event in Overwatch since February 25th. Again, this time there is a special epic skin, sprays, and a player icon.
What is the event about? The event is called “Ashe’s Mardi Gras Challenge” and centers around Elizabeth Caledonia “Calamity” Ashe, who is commonly known as Ashe.
How long does the event run? The event started on February 25, 2020, at 8 PM and runs until March 9, 2020. During this period, rewards can be earned in Overwatch. These include:
- Rewards for a specific number of wins
- Twitch Drops while watching certain streamers playing Overwatch during this time.

How does the event work? There are, as in the last event about Mercy, three levels that can be achieved. For each level reached, there are corresponding rewards:
- Win 3 games: This rewards you with the player icons Mardi Gras and Mardi-B.O.B.
- Win 6 games: This rewards you with the spray “Golden Mask”
- Win 9 games: Here, you will receive the epic skin for Ashe: “Mardi Gras”

Whoever wins three games will receive the player icons Mardi Gras and Mardi-B.O.B.
Players who win 6 games during the event period will receive the spray “Golden Mask”.
For 9 wins during the event, the epic skin for Ashe: “Mardi Gras”.

What are Twitch rewards? Watching certain selected streamers on Twitch allows you to unlock six unique sprays for various characters in Overwatch.
What rewards can I collect via Twitch?
Watch streamers on Twitch during or between matches to unlock additional cosmetic extras related to Mardi Gras. Tune in to participating streams during broadcast times until March 9 to unlock six unique sprays for Ashe’s Mardi Gras Challenge.
- Those who watch streamers on Twitch for 2 hours will receive the spray “Bite Ball” for Wrecking Ball.
- At 4 hours of viewing time, you will receive the sprays Semlor for Brigitte and Beads for Zenyatta.
- After 6 hours, you will receive the sprays: Rex (McCree), Red Death (Reaper), and Carnival (Lucio).
