How do I farm the event best? To get the most out of the “Goblin March” event, players summarize a few helpful tips. For example, vasilispp writes on Reddit:
- Disable Crossplay so fewer Goblins are snatched away by other players.
- Use a fast farming build with as much cooldown reduction on gear as possible so you can ride and attack faster.
- Choose an area in Sanctuary with plenty of space so your mount doesn’t get stuck and you don’t have to keep dismounting and remounting.
- Hop on your mount, ride around for a bit, and then open the map to see the Goblins. Kill them, repeat the process until you have largely cleared the area, and then move on to the next. It’s best to select three adjacent areas and simply teleport back to the first one when you’re done.
Other players point out in the comments that you should not ignore the Shrines of Greed with the gold coin symbol. klumze writes: “As soon as you activate one, start killing enemies immediately. This spawns more Goblins in the 30 seconds. If you run past mobs beforehand, you’ll have something to hit right after activation.”
Additionally, players suggest that the Nightmare Dungeons with the affixes “Treasure Goblins” and “Gold Supply” are worth it – the latter spawns more Shrines of Greed, players report.
