Data miners have found new information about the Spring event 2020 in Destiny 2, including an Exotic weapon, cool cosmetics, and a competition among the Guardian classes.
Here’s what we know about the “Guardian Games” event: A look at the roadmap for Season 10 reveals that a free event for everyone is set for April: the Guardian Games. According to official information, this is supposed to be a “class competition” that will take place from April 21 to May 11. As rewards, there should be new legendary gear.
However, this is where the official information from Bungie ends. But currently, we have new details from other sources about the process and significantly more rewards.

These rewards are expected in the competition: Recently, we reported about a heavy Exotic auto rifle in Cabal style. This Exotic weapon is supposed to be one of the rewards in the Guardian Games. Additionally, there should be other Exotic cosmetics like sparrows and ships, some available for purchase with silver in the Eververse, and some available to unlock for everyone. There is currently no information on the announced armor sets.

This is leaked about the event process: Bungie seems to take the theme “class competition” seriously for the event. In the Guardian Games, Titans, Warlocks, and Hunters will compete against each other according to the latest information. According to Ginsor, the choice of your class also influences your rewards. He writes (via Twitter): “The better your class, the better your daily rewards will be.”
The Guardian Games are said to be partially modeled after last year’s Spring event “The Revelry.” Eva Levante returns as a contact in the Tower and provides players with activities and rewards. The Cabal Exotic takes the place of the exotic reward from last year: the Arbalest.
According to leaks, the “Green Forest” could also celebrate its return. Whether the notorious essences will be available this year is currently unknown.
