In the MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online, there will be a new DLC “Legacy of the Bretons” on March 14. With Update 33, two new dungeons and accordingly new item sets will enter the game. One set is particularly strong, we will reveal more in this article.

- (2 items) Grants 1136 maximum health
- (3 items) Grants 1032 maximum stamina
- (4 items) Grants 1136 maximum health
- (5 items) When you block, you gain flowing water for 10 seconds, causing your next heavy attack to deal 2965 magic damage to up to 6 enemies in a 10-meter line and apply Major Vulnerability to them for 10 seconds, increasing the damage they take by 10%. This effect can occur once every 15 seconds and scales with your maximum health.
For whom is the set interesting? As you just read, the set applies the debuff “Major Vulnerability” to the enemy. The set is particularly interesting for support roles like tank or healer. But you can also use it as a DPS if you don’t have a necromancer or someone with the set in the group.
“Major Vulnerability” – Debuff makes necromancers strong
Since the release of the necromancer class with Elsweyr, this class has been seen numerous times. Also at endgame, necromancers are always in demand. But what makes them so strong? It’s the debuff “Major Vulnerability”, as this debuff increases damage to the enemy target.
The necromancer achieves this debuff through its ultimate ability. Here you get the full details about the Pestilent Colossus. By the way, it doesn’t matter how you modify your ability after reaching Level IV for the debuff:
You unleash a pestilent flesh colossus to pulverize your enemies in the vicinity. The colossus strikes the ground three times for 3 seconds, dealing 6965, 7314, and 7680 plague damage with the first, second, and third strikes respectively. When damage is dealt, this affects hit enemies with Major Vulnerability for 12 seconds, increasing the damage they take by 10%.
While the necromancer class itself is not weak, its unique feature has indeed been the debuff it delivers with its ultimate ability. If groups can receive the debuff in the future through the announced item set, it is not unlikely that the necromancer will become less interesting for a while.
Where can you get the new set “Tide Turner”?
You can obtain the item set from the new dungeon “Gram of the Shipwright”. The new dungeon will release with the next Update 33 Legacy of the Bretons on March 14 for PC / Mac and Stadia, and on March 29 for Xbox and PlayStation.
