In the horde shooter Perish (PC), which will be released on Steam in a few weeks, you fight in 4-player co-op against monsters from the underworld. On MeinMMO, you will learn what the game is about and what it offers you.
What kind of game is this? Perish is a horde shooter from the indie developer “ITEM42,” where you cooperatively fight against creatures from the underworld with up to four players.
In this action-packed title, you embody a so-called “Amyetri.” These are physical spirits doomed to spend their existence in the underworld.
To ultimately gain access to Elysium, the final “resting place of the worthy souls” and a “place of cosmic revelations,” you must complete 12 tasks from mysterious priests and defeat various bosses.
Additionally, Perish incorporates roguelite elements. This means: Should you die while solving a task, according to the developers, you will be resurrected at the location where you started the task and must complete it again (via perishgame.com).
Perish release still in 2023
What do we know about the release? Perish will be released this year on February 2, 2023 for PC on Steam, GOG.com, and the Epic Games Store.
Since December 6, 2022, you can also play a free demo that you can download on Steam. Thus, you do not have to buy the game immediately but can test it first and then decide whether you are interested in the full version of the title in February.
