Hyper Light Breaker is set to release a roguelite on Steam in 2023, combining cooperative gameplay with a constantly changing open world.
What kind of game is this? With Hyper Light Breaker (PC), developer Heart Machine is bringing a roguelite this fall that you can play solo or in online co-op with friends. The anime-style title adopts a third-person perspective and action-packed gameplay that relies on both ranged and melee weapons.
What makes the game special is the open world, which changes with each new attempt and is procedurally generated. As is typical for roguelites, your new attempt begins with the death of your character, which will inevitably happen time and again.
In the ever-changing game world, there are various characters you can meet and biomes you can explore. Throughout the gameplay, you will also need to ask yourself whether you really want to explore the map or not, knowing that it will look different upon your next respawn.
