Gangs of Sherwood is a new cooperative game that is releasing this month on platforms including Steam. A launch trailer now brings you closer to the new interpretation of the story in a musical way.
What kind of game is this? Gangs of Sherwood is a cooperative action-adventure that will be available on November 30, 2023, on Steam, PS5, and Xbox.
In this new version of the tales surrounding the famous band of robbers, you take on the roles of Robin Hood, Maid Marian, Brother Tuck, or Little John with up to four players. Together, you fight against the wicked Sheriff of Nottingham and his soldiers to free the people from his tyranny.

What does the trailer show? The trailer summarizes the story of the game for you one more time. All in a very musical way.
Because fitting to the medieval setting, a minstrel sings about the dire events in Nottingham and the heroic deeds of the band of robbers.
You also get a good impression of the world created for Gangs of Sherwood. The mix of medieval and modern technology appears very well coordinated. You get a sense that it is a world full of mysteries, wonders, but also dangers.
Especially, the disaster brought by the sheriff and his troops over the city and its inhabitants is vividly portrayed.
Accompanied by some gameplay snippets, the minstrel makes it clear how Robin Hood and his friends fight against the new enemies.
You see Robin Hood as a perfect archer, Marian as a fearless assassin, Little John as a powerful bruiser. Brother Tuck brings down all enemies with a huge hammer.
Trailer primarily impresses with one thing and that is not even the game itself
What are the reactions? In the comments (via YouTube), many players praise especially the actor and singer of the minstrel. He seems to create just the right atmosphere with his short song.
Even if some users don’t find the game itself particularly interesting, they cannot help but recognize the quality of the trailer.
