New teasers for the biggest update from GTA Online can now be found in the game. Screenshots show bloody corpses. Could this be related to the new location?
What is it about? Since today, December 19, players in GTA Online are discovering new content. Corpses are now washing up on Vespucci Beach. And they look badly mutilated.
Some believe that this is now related to the new location that Rockstar wants to introduce in the next update.
Update 6:30 PM: Rockstar has released the first video teaser. It showcases the new map expansion that awaits us. It seems to be an entire island. The corpse also made an appearance in the teaser.

The developers explained that the next update for GTA Online will be the biggest the game has ever seen. It’s clear that discussions in the community erupt immediately whenever something changes in the game.
Corpses on the beaches of GTA Online
What was found? If you now walk to Vespucci Beach in GTA Online, you will “luckily” find the corpses. As dataminer TezFunz2 explains on Twitter, these are events that occur at specific times. You must therefore be at the right place at the right time to see them. Furthermore, you are supposed to find them along the entire beach up to Los Santos International Airport.
We managed to capture what this looks like in the game with a screenshot.
Here we see a lifeless body that has been almost completely stripped. Only the underwear, two socks, and two shoes are still found on the body.
It is also striking that part of the head has been severely damaged. You can probably see into the inside.
A few steps away from this corpse, we also found a small suitcase. We could not interact with it, nor could we blow it up.
New location? Rockstar announced a new location with the biggest update of all time. It is quite possible that the corpses are related to this. The community suspects the same. They write on reddit:
- “Hmmm all boats and the yacht are on sale this week. Yes, I believe we are getting an island. But this is just speculation, folks”
- “Washed up from another location? Let’s hope it’s a good new map that’s being hinted at here”
- “The body must have come from somewhere outside of Los Santos. Does this confirm that we are really getting a new location?”
Some also speculate that the corpse comes from a boat and that the new location may be accessible by boats.
