Call of Duty: Warzone is currently struggling with some bugs. Some of these have a significant impact on the core mechanics and severely disrupt the gameplay. Players have now discovered that they can even bypass the penalty for their death.
What is this bug? Allegedly, equipping certain throwing weapons triggers a glitch that allows you to keep your equipment after dying in Warzone.
The leak account TheGhostOfHope shared this on Twitter, shortly thereafter, the well-known leaker ModernWarzone also confirmed it. Some Twitter users agree and confirm that the bug has been known for days.
Allegedly, players can keep their entire loadout, including the equipped perks. This would save a lot of money after a respawn, as loadouts would no longer need to be purchased. However, as TheGhostOfHope notes shortly afterward, at least for him, only the currently equipped primary weapon is affected (via Twitter.com).
However, there are also players who claim that the glitch does not work for them. Whether the bug is reproducible cannot be reliably said at this time. We advise against trying it – exploits could lead to a ban.
Why is this Pay2Win? The relevant skins are only available in shop bundles, some of which are currently no longer available. Still, some players now perceive the issue as “Pay2Win”.

The weapon skins are currently not the only issue where players suspect that victory can be bought. The Season Pass from Season 1 in Vanguard and Warzone also causes unrest, especially the new operator skin “Awoken” for Francis at level 100.

Even after several weeks into the season, this remains a problem. Previously, there was also trouble in Warzone because of the Roze skin, which was simply hard to see in dark corners. In this case, however, a bug apparently ensures that the skin is genuinely invisible.
That Warzone is currently plagued by such severe problems dampens the mood in the community. And that, despite one of the biggest points of criticism finally being resolved – or at least visibly addressed.
