With the current patch, Arkadion has launched in Solution Nine. Players from Final Fantasy XIV can experience a new fun content. As a reward, there’s new equipment – but one piece of clothing is battling a bug that fans love.
What is this bug? Players can obtain the Gomphotherium Leather Thorn Vest in the MMORPG. This is a jacket adorned with numerous studs. The jacket gives the character’s look a bit of a rock vibe.
However, the jacket is incompatible with another piece of clothing that many fans know from another content. The Coliseum Loincloth is already designed to be quite revealing. Players are only clad in a pair of underwear, a wide belt, and some leather when they don the loincloth.

However, the jacket does not fully render the loincloth, causing players to only wear the underwear in combination with the jacket, as X-user RiverOfNyx presents:
Because of the jacket, the side parts and the wider belt disappear, which at least covers some of the best piece. But now players can stomp through Tural in a semi-naked leather look in Final Fantasy.

How are fans reacting? The bug has already spread through social media. Many users are having fun with the bug, viewing it as a feature. X-user quachacho writes, for example, that his Hrothgar would get a completely different vibe because of it:
Particularly “impressive” the bug looks on tall Roegadyn. Due to the wide hips, the underwear fits so snugly that one might fear something would fall out with too much movement:
Another tweet shows a Miqo’te in Limsa Lominsa. In the comments, some joke that it’s fitting to wear such a revealing pair of underwear in this city. The outfit would fit the reputation of the city.
Currently, there is no comment from Square Enix. However, we can assume that the development team will catch wind of the bug and address the issue. So enjoy the underwear for as long as you can.
