The MMORPG Tower of Fantasy (PC/ Android/ iOS) has surprisingly announced its release date. On Twitter, players are expressing their joy at being able to play the MMORPG soon.
What is Tower of Fantasy? Tower of Fantasy resembles Genshin Impact at first glance, but it relies on many of its own ideas. While Genshin Impact is an action RPG where you can occasionally team up with other players, Tower of Fantasy is a true MMORPG.
Tower of Fantasy is an MMORPG with a colorful sci-fi world, an active combat system, and gacha mechanics for weapons and avatars. So if you want new characters or weapons, you have to rely on chance. This is likely to discourage those of you who were already put off by the gacha system of Genshin Impact.

Release of Tower of Fantasy is already on August 10, 2022
When is the release? The developers of Tower of Fantasy announced on Twitter that the game will officially launch on August 10, 2022, at 8 PM Eastern Time.
For us in Germany, this means that you can only start the game on August 11. Because 8 PM Eastern Time (EDT) is 2 AM for us.
Where can I play the MMORPG? Tower of Fantasy will be released simultaneously on multiple platforms. You can play the game on the following devices:
- Windows PC (Steam and Epic as well as the own client)
- Mobile devices with Android or iOS.
According to the developers and the official website, you can play together with users on other platforms. If you prefer playing on the mobile, you can be together with users who prefer to install the game on PC.
However, we cannot tell you if you will have to compete against PC players in PvP with the mobile and thus have any disadvantages. This will show at release.
Fans are excited about the upcoming release
How is the community reacting? Users are definitely excited on Twitter that they can soon dive into the colorful world of planet Aida.
Some users even hope that the game will also get a PS5 version after a successful release. However, nothing is known so far about a version for Xbox and PS4/PS5.
