For those who can’t get enough of hard action games like Black Myth: Wukong, should take a look at a newly announced title from Korea.
What game is it? During the Xbox Partner Preview in March 2026, among many other titles, a new action game called MOOSA: Dirty Fate was announced.
It is a project by the developer Iggymob and already resembles titles like Black Myth: Wukong in the first trailer. The comparison is obvious when looking at the action-packed, fast-paced fights.
Just like Black Myth: Wukong, MOOSA: Dirty Fate also relies on the extensive history and mythology of the country from which the game originates. In the case of MOOSA, that is South Korea, while Wukong was inspired by the Chinese novel “Journey to the West.”

In the fight against terrible monsters
What kind of game is MOOSA? The titular term “Moosa” refers to a person who has mastered martial arts skills and works in this environment. So we are likely playing a battle-hardened character who must grapple with themes such as revenge, responsibility, and ambitions throughout the storyline.
All of this takes place in Korea in the 17th century, where history and mythology are blended. The scenario allows for the appearance of mythological creatures; the developers refer in the trailer description on YouTube to “terrible monsters” that one must confront.
Whether the battles will be as difficult as in Black Myth: Wukong or even akin to Soulslikes cannot be said at this point in time.
However, the scenes in the trailer suggest that the game will not be a walk in the park. And even from the developers’ side, the sword fights are described as “brutal.” It will definitely be action-packed, as the trailer impressively shows. The character moves quickly across the battlefield, blood sprays, and with special maneuvers, you smash groups of enemies and bosses in spectacular fashion.
When and where will the game be released? Currently, MOOSA: Dirty Fate is set to be released in 2027, although a specific date has not yet been provided.
The game is expected to be available on Xbox Series X/S and PC at launch and will also be included in Game Pass. Will you take a closer look at the title?
