The developers of the MMORPG Neverwinter announce a reduction in Stronghold costs. Meanwhile, the Xbox marketplace has caused a stir.
The costs for a stronghold in the MMO Neverwinter are quite high. The developers are aware of this and now want to change it. In particular, the high costs in Astral Diamonds have upset players. Because these are also needed for other things in the game, which cannot be purchased if players must save for the stronghold. Therefore, these costs are now to be adjusted.
Whereby the developers admit that they initially oriented to higher costs so that they do not have to increase them if prices do not match. Now they have the opportunity to lower the costs.
Lower Prices
It is noted on the website regarding this price reduction:
The AD costs in strongholds are being significantly reduced, typically by 50% to 90% (guilds at lower levels receive the largest discounts).
The costs for Tyranny treasures and fairy pets are being markedly decreased, usually by 20% to 40%.
Glory and Astral Diamonds now earn you double the amount of Guild Marks (we do not see a lack of Guild Marks as our biggest problem, but in these two cases, the number seemed too low compared to the others.)
30 new profession tasks, where “boxes” of various kinds are manufactured:
Two each for Alchemy (Gems and Gold), Jewelcrafting (both Gems) and Leadership (Labor and Astral Diamond Chests)
Four each for Artistry, Leatherworking, Chainmail Smithing, Plate Smithing, Tailoring, and Weapon Smithing (all provide surplus equipment)

Additionally, there are currently controversial discussions about items that have disappeared from the trading marketplace of the Xbox version. These include protective items when upgrading items and gems. While it was initially said that these items would not be removed from the marketplace, it has now happened.
The developers state that these items should not currently be in the marketplace. This led to strong complaints from players, and the developers responded again, stating that they would discuss this situation internally and soon release an official statement.
This statement, however, was anything but positive. They will not reinsert the disappeared items into the trading marketplace. It was a communication error. The items were not supposed to be in the marketplace at this time due to some short-term changes. This had to be done because players were exploiting purchases and negatively impacting the game’s economy.
However, some of these items will be overwritten into players’ inventories so they can use them.
