The adventures in the MMORPG Neverwinter continue. Together with Wizards of the Coast and bestseller author R.A. Salvatore, Cryptic Studios is working on the module “Underdark”.
For those familiar with the world of the Forgotten Realms, “Underdark” will be a familiar term. There live the Drow, the dark elves, who play a significant role in the stories of the Forgotten Realms. In the new module, you will travel to the underground city of Menzoberranzan, where you will encounter the renegade Drow Drizzt Do’Urden, the protagonist of many well-known novels. The story of the new adventure was even written by author R.A. Salvatore.
“Underdark” is set to be released later this year for both the PC and the Xbox One version of Neverwinter. The developers of the MMORPG are excited to integrate such a famous location into the game, and while part of the team is already working on the new module, another part is focused on developing new content and improvements that should be included in the online game before the release of “Underdark”.
Fans of guild housing can look forward to it, as Cryptic Studios is currently also working on the update Neverwinter: Strongholds, about which more will be revealed at a later time. Adjustments and implementations based on fan feedback regarding the current module “Elemental Evil” are also expected to be released soon.
