With the upcoming adventure module “The Cloaked Ascendancy”, the battle “Gambit of the Illusionist” will be introduced in the MMORPG Neverwinter, offering some unique features.
Deep in the sewers of the city of Neverwinter, a mysterious wizard conducts secret experiments, and Lord Neverember sends you there to find out what the sorcerer is up to. In this new adventure, you’ll need to be prepared for anything, as each run is different. Several random events make this encounter a true challenge.
Everything changes
On your way through the sewers, for example, the ground might suddenly break open, or you might encounter enemies that explode. Sometimes, you could even be transformed into a chicken. This way, there is plenty of variety.
The enemies you encounter are also randomly generated. So in one run, you might face Illusory Tayaner fighting alongside Illusory Barbarians. Another time, you might encounter Illusory Orcs and victims of the Spellplague. Even during battles, more enemies can suddenly appear—even a massive dragon!
A great challenge
The developers of Neverwinter are eager to find out how you will respond to these ever-changing challenges. Additionally, some “Easter Eggs” are hidden that you should find.
The battle “Gambit of the Illusionist” will be released with the adventure module “The Cloaked Ascendancy” for the MMORPG Neverwinter. However, it is already playable on the test server. The developers hope for a lot of constructive feedback to make this challenge a very special gaming experience.
