Crafting had to become more exciting
How was crafting so far? Until now, the crafting system of Neverwinter was quite simple. It was used, but hardly anyone found it particularly exciting. Crafting was not a real focus for the developers, who mainly focused on new stories with modules such as Ravenloft. This is now changing.

- If you receive your workshop during the quests of “The Heart of Fire”, you will become the boss of a company
- You will review applications from artisans and can hire them
- The workforce will then actually be visible in your workshop as they work
- You will continue to assign tasks to artisans at a task board, and the workers will also improve over time
- At this task board, you will also assign adventurers to gather raw materials and refining stones. You will then regularly receive a delivery
- At the workbench, you will place orders for recipes
- A few times a day, it is possible to complete orders immediately
- More of these “accelerations” can be purchased with astral diamonds
- The workshop can be upgraded over time to work more efficiently

Fans are reacting somewhat reserved: Overall, these new features are well received by the players of Neverwinter. Finally, the developers are making crafting more interesting, so that it no longer runs “faceless” in the background. Instead, you really have to take care of it.
