The free-to-play MMORPG Neverwinter is now officially playable for everyone on PlayStation 4.
After the early access phase for owners of the Onyx Advantage Pack began on July 12, it’s now time for everyone: Neverwinter can be played on PlayStation 4.
Adventures in the Forgotten Realms
The online role-playing game Neverwinter, developed by Cryptic Studios, takes you to the Sword Coast of the fantasy realm Forgotten Realms, known to fans of the pen & paper RPG Dungeons & Dragons. The city of Neverwinter is facing numerous threats. An army of undead is trying to storm the walls. In one district, orcs have settled, bandits threaten the population, and demons are appearing in the streets. Brave heroes are sought to confront these dangers.
The PlayStation 4 version of Neverwinter includes all nine expansion modules in addition to the main game, including The Maze Engine, providing countless hours of adventure. The campaigns of the expansions are unlocked when you complete the main quest and reach level 70. The controls have been adapted to the DualShock 4 controller of the PS4, and the UI is optimized for the console. To see how the MMORPG plays, you can read our Neverwinter PS4 preview article. We set off directly on July 12 to free Neverwinter!
If you haven’t experienced any adventures in Neverwinter yet but would like to join, you can create an account today and play without a PS Plus membership.
