The Free2Play action MMO Neverwinter will launch on the Xbox with a different version than the one currently running on PC. There will be no crossplay feature between PC and Xbox One.
There is a release date for Neverwinter on the Xbox One: March 31 has been chosen by Perfect World.
When Neverwinter comes to Xbox One in spring 2015, the game will experience a fresh start with new servers. PC players will not have access to the Xbox One version. Overall, the version will look a bit different: Here, you will start with the base game and the module “Tyranny of Dragons”, the expansion that came to PC in summer 2014.
However, it will not really be the summer edition. Balance changes that have occurred in the PC version should also make it to the Xbox version.

With the following seven classes, Neverwinter will start on the Xbox One:
- Guardian Fighter
- Two-Handed Weapon Fighter
- Control Wizard
- Trickster Rogue
- Devoted Cleric
- Vigilant Ranger
- Destroyer Warlock.

The eighth class, the Oathbound Paladin, which is set to arrive on PC with the next expansion, will launch later on Xbox. The Xbox Neverwinter is expected to start with all races available to PC players: so also including the controversial premium race Dragonborn. The game will be Free2Play, requiring an Xbox One Gold membership; and Perfect World aims to utilize the advantages of Xbox, such as the friends list and optimized controls.
