Currently, Cryptic Studios is working on the Neverwinter update Sea of Moving Ice, which concludes the story of the adventure module Storm King’s Thunder.
In it, you will explore the sea of drifting ice, a very large area through which you navigate with a ship. This is a type of Khyeks provided to you by a tribe of ice hunters. Over time, you will be able to acquire better Khyeks, which will allow you to travel faster and maneuver better.

From your Khyeks, you can also fish. However, deep-sea fishing in the sea of drifting ice works a bit differently than you are used to from the regions of Lonelywood or Winterfest. You will also need a special rod, which you can obtain in the new zone. Deep-sea fishing requires more attention and quicker reaction times from you. To catch all the types of fish available in the sea of drifting ice, you must explore the area thoroughly.
You will use the fish to provide food for the refugees from Wulfgars deer tribe. Only when they are strengthened will they help you attack the frost giants. In addition, you will increase your reputation, which grants you a new artifact weapon set.
In the sea of drifting ice, you will find more than just fish. Occasionally, you will also find treasure map pieces, which you need to collect and piece together. The maps will lead you to hidden places where you can find valuable loot.
The Sea of Moving Ice update will be released on November 8 for the PC version of the MMORPG Neverwinter.
