At least that’s how I feel with Neverwinter… My little huntress is eagerly waiting for the release of Module 3: Curse of Icewind Dale – Are you too? After our last big news about Mercenary Contracts and the Black Ice, we will reveal more about the new campaigns and leaderboards today.
If you also want to get the great new equipment, you should visit the skilled craftsmen in Icewind Dale after the release on May 13, who trade with powerful weapons and armor. But they don’t sell their goods to just anyone! You need to complete adventures for the residents of Caer-Konig to earn their trust and respect.
With the help of daily quests, you can earn Konig coins, dwarven gold, and Auril’s tears to gain access to new areas, such as the Dwarf Valley and Kessell’s Refuge. As your reputation improves with the dwarves, they will additionally supply you with blessings and Black Ice enchantments to ensure you’re well-equipped against Akar Kessell and his corrupted minions.
But there’s also plenty to do for the PvP fans among you: The three open-world PvP areas invite fierce battles for glory and honor. But that’s not all – as you know, you can’t buy anything with that! 😉 You’ll receive tasks like “Conquering 100 points in Domination” or the “Elimination of 150 players in Gauntlgrym”. If you manage to fulfill these requirements, you will be rewarded with great items and new titles. If you’re particularly diligent and reach several of these milestones, you’ll receive additional black opals and blessings on top.
So that the whole world knows about your achievements, soon it will be possible to retrieve your slaughter statistics – for you personally and for the best in Neverwinter. Of course, only your successes after the release of the third module will be considered in the new leaderboards! So get ready on May 13 for epic battles and practice a bit until then to stay fit.
