The online role-playing game Neverwinter also offers the update “Cloaked Ascendancy” on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. In this update, you will fight mages and their minions in the rebuilt River District of Neverwinter.
So far, Neverwinter players on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One have only faced icy wastelands as current endgame story content. But now the new update “Cloaked Ascendancy” is finally available for PS4 and Xbox One.
The new expansion takes you from the north to the warm Neverwinter, where not everything is peaceful and serene.
Neverwinter – Cloaked Ascendancy – Mage Uprising!
The mages of the Cloaked Ascendancy under “Gyrion, the Ascendant” want to bring Neverwinter under their control and begin their misdeeds in the River District. There you will find various mages of the conspiracy, each leaving their unique mark on the region. There you will complete quests, fight mages and their servants, and prepare for the truly dangerous challenges ahead:
- The Caverns of the Spellplague are back and tougher than before! There are also better loot!
- The Gambit of the Illusionist is a new battle where you must survive wave after wave of enemies in the sewers of Neverwinter.
As loot, you can expect new items from the sets “Doppelgänger”, “Fairy”, “Aboleth”, and “Lifeforged”.
