The MMORPG Neverwinter celebrates its fifth anniversary since release and the developers have published fun and interesting statistics about the game.

Neverwinter celebrates its anniversary
Happy Birthday Neverwinter! Five years ago, Cryptic Studios released Neverwinter, a D&D MMORPG set in the Forgotten Realms. It’s clear that this anniversary is now being celebrated. Not only with a vlog highlighting the history of the game, but also with the event “Anniversary of the Protector”:
- The event runs until June 23 at 4 PM on PC and 7 PM on consoles
- You receive a 40% discount on everything in the ZEN Market (except the new Vampire Hunter pack) and a 15% AD discount in the Marvelous Bazaar
- Additionally, there are bonus VP, 2× influence, and 2× refinement stones
Much has been achieved in five years. The developers released a graphic with exciting statistics about the game. These show, for example, that in 5 years, 6.5 million dragons were slain and the players died 202 million times. A total of 18 million heroes were created.
The developers are proud. The development team and publisher Perfect World are very proud of what has been achieved with Neverwinter:
“Cryptic Studios has spent the last half-decade creating a unique, action-packed role-playing experience that has resonated with both tabletop and video game players,” says Stephen D’Angelo, CEO of Cryptic Studios.
“Working with Wizards of the Coast to bring the Forgotten Realms to life has been a long-held dream for many of us. Witnessing this game grow beyond all expectations and the amount of support we have received from our players has been simply incredible. I want to thank our team and our community for making Neverwinter what it is today. We are already looking forward to the next five years!”
In a few days, the latest expansion of the MMORPG Neverwinter, Ravenloft, will be released.
