Heroes of the Storm is expanding with a new map. It is called “Garden of Fears” and follows the classic model of 3 lanes. The twist is that there will be a day/night cycle that players can influence. During the day, mercenaries inhabit parts of the garden on the map, while at night they are replaced by night monsters. Additionally, visibility is reduced during the night phase. It will only end once all night monsters have been eliminated.
That the developers of The Elder Scrolls Online have undergone a shift in thinking has likely been noticed by some as the veteran ranks were completely revamped. Now they are focusing on the next aspect of the game, the PvP. According to Creative Director Paul Sage, players “can definitely expect arenas in the not too distant future”.
With Warlords of Draenor, Blizzard is once again faced with the difficult decision of how to proceed. The current plan is that flying will be disabled at the start of the expansion for the new areas. It will only be unlocked after a few weeks. However, the developers are still unsure how exactly. Perhaps simply via gold, or possibly through an epic quest. This will be decided in the short term.
