What happened? On Twitter, Greg Henninger from Amazon Game Studios shared that he is taking a few days off and is already extremely excited to show fans what he has been working on.
What does this have to do with New World? Amazon has been working on the MMORPG for quite some time, and recently there was an invitation for influencers to see the MMORPG on-site. Now, just before the start of the E3 gaming fair, Greg Henninger writes that he is looking forward to showing everyone what he has been working on. Coincidence?
Who is Greg Henninger? Greg Henninger was a Community Manager at Daybreak Studios but then switched to Amazon Game Studios. While it is not known exactly what he is working on, it can be assumed that it is New World.
An MMORPG set in the Colonial Era
What is New World? New World is an interesting MMORPG with a somewhat unusual scenario that mixes horror and adventure. It is set during the colonization of America. Players will also deal with supernatural elements, monsters, and magic. Exploring the land, as well as building and defending one’s fortress, are important features of the MMO.
When will we learn more about New World? If Greg Henninger’s hints refer to New World, then we will learn more about the MMORPG very soon. It is to be expected that Amazon will present the game at least by E3.
