Neowiz, the developers of the MMORPG Bless, have revealed a bit more about the upcoming game. The early access launch in May is actually the soft launch, so it is the game’s release.
Interesting is that the developers do not view the early access phase of Bless as a type of test. Much more, it is a soft launch. The game will start through the early access program on Steam and will then seamlessly transition into the release version. There will be no wipe.
No Pay2Win, no loot boxes, but PvP everywhere
Furthermore, the developers explained some interesting things:
- Despite Buy2Play, there will be an item shop that includes cosmetic items, pets, mounts, and also boosts
- There will be no Pay2Win items, which is why they opted for the Buy2Play model
- There are no loot boxes
- There are no PvP or PvE servers. PvP is possible everywhere
- Those who do not want to participate in PvP will need to craft or buy an item that protects them from attacks by other players – this is only possible up to the level cap
- Once the level cap is reached, the endgame content mainly revolves around PvP – Those who still do not want to participate will need to purchase a protection item in the cash shop
- It should also be possible to earn the cash shop currency in the game.
Bless will launch with 5 classes
- Bless will launch with 5 classes – Mystic and Assassin are currently being revised and will come later. Remaining classes are Berserker, Mage, Paladin, Guardian, and Ranger. What will happen to the 8th class, the Warlock, is still unknown.
- The Emissary program allows you to create your own content and help other players
- Content updates will be released for free
- The game will be fully localized with English voice acting – no information about German voice acting is currently known
- The Steam version will have its own combat system
- Developers are currently not following any roadmap
