In 2023, the series One Piece was released on Netflix as a live-action adaptation of the popular anime, which managed to win over many old and new fans. Soon, there will finally be new news about Season 2, and to announce this, Netflix released a new video showcasing the most important aspect of the series: the crew dynamics.
What kind of video is this? On the night of June 1st at 02:00 AM, Tudum
will happen again. This is a Netflix event where new trailers and announcements for series and movies are presented. There will be new information about Season 2 of Wednesday, but, as it is now known, also about Season 2 of One Piece.
To present something to the fans in advance, Netflix released a special announcement
that shows parts of the crew, and the video captures the series’ vibe well.

What can be seen in the video? No new story content is visible in the teaser, but it offers a small insight into crew life. You see Nami reading a book in her cabin while Luffy snores loudly. She wakes Luffy, who says: Every pirate crew needs bonding time. He announces a pajama party.
Shortly thereafter, the other crew members arrive. Sanji has prepared snacks and popcorn, which Luffy wants to eat immediately, and Usopp repaired a snail that acts as a projector. Lastly, Zoro arrives, who only came because he thought there would be alcohol.
Sanji makes a comment about Zoro, everyone gets comfortable, and a video is played. The actual trailer for the new season will be revealed at the Tudum event on June 1, 2025.
How does the community react to the trailer? Although it’s just a teaser for a possible trailer, the teaser is well-received under the official YouTube video. The crew dynamics, in particular, are praised.
