Star Wars Battlefront 2 was heavily criticized in 2017. Now EA has put the shooter back on track. With updates and a season, Battlefront 2 will continue in May and June 2018. These are dedicated to Han Solo.
On May 16, Season 2 of Star Wars Battlefront 2 begins with content related to Han Solo. First, players will travel back to the original trilogy before continuing in June with activities related to the upcoming film Solo: A Star Wars Story.
Recently, Electronic Arts and DICE announced the second season for Star Wars Battlefront 2. After Season 1 focused entirely on Star Wars: The Last Jedi, the Han Solo season begins in May. On May 16, it will start with content from the original trilogy before continuing in June with Solo: A Star Wars Story.
What to Expect in May in Battlefront 2
Hero Showdown: During the Han Solo season, players will be able to participate in this new round-based elimination mode. The Hero Showdown offers 2v2 battles of the best favorite duos in Heroes vs. Villains.
Custom Arcade Games for Starfighters: Players can hone their skills for Starfighter Assault in this mode. Starfighters from all eras are available, and they will compete against the AI.

Jabba’s Palace: During the Han Solo season, Jabba’s Palace on Tatooine will be in play. In this map, the modes Galactic Assault, Hero Showdown, and Heroes vs. Villains can be played.
New Skins for Lando and Leia: The characters Lando Calrissian and Leia Organa will receive skins from the opening scene of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. Lando Calrissian dresses up as a Skiff Guard, while Leia Organa appears as the bounty hunter Boushh. There will also be the appropriate voice lines.
Additionally, there are some quality-of-life changes, such as an improved main menu and the ability to allocate skill points between matches.
In June, the content for Solo: A Star Wars Story will follow. What that content will be is yet to be announced.
