Even though we like to look for new titles and discover additional genres here and there, there are still one or two games that many gamers long for and return to again and again. Do you have a game like that which you keep coming back to?
Some games simply don’t let us go. We love their story, the characters, or the gameplay, or we just have great memories associated with them. In our editorial team, we also have some titles that no great game will ever be able to dethrone.
Games the editorial team enjoys returning to
Irie and Sven are drawn to the Destiny universe. While both often return to the roots and Destiny 1, Sven cannot seem to get enough of Destiny 2.
The colleagues especially seem to enjoy Blizzard games: Schuhmann likes to relax and play Hearthstone in his free time, while Lucas cannot stop raving about Heroes of the Storm. Patrick keeps playing Diablo 3 whenever a new season starts. In this context, he reminds everyone that Season 14 of the hack-and-slash is starting soon:
Ricardo couldn’t really decide and mentioned that he keeps an eye on World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy XIV, or Guild Wars 2. Especially with major patches or expansions, such as the upcoming WoW: Battle for Azeroth, he likes to check in.
Micha, on the other hand, has fallen in love with the Halo series. Especially with the release of a new installment, one must revisit the previous games, and the multiplayer is always worth a visit.
