Online games often have a reputation for offering a harsh environment and an unwelcoming player base. We believe this is unjust, and this week we ask: What was the nicest thing someone did for you in-game?

Nice Gestures from the Editorial Team
Irie found a group after a long break in Destiny 1 that helped her through all the raids during the Age of Triumphs. The players she found through an LFG site stayed with her until 5 AM, going through the four raids, even though they no longer needed any loot themselves.
Sven once couldn’t continue during the early days of Destiny 1 in the middle of a raid and went AFK. His team managed to complete the Glass Chamber without him, allowing Sven to receive loot despite only a few inactivity hits. To top it off, the lucky player also managed to grab the then overpowered Vex Mythoclast.
When things weren’t going well for her, Leya received a beautiful decoration for her Kavat from a clan member. It’s clear that Leya was thrilled, as she only came to the shooter through the quirky space cats earlier.
Micha was also surprised by the generosity of the Warframe community. Due to the steep learning curve and the few explanations Warframe offers to newcomers, she was initially quite intimidated. A complete stranger took her under his wing after a mission and explained everything a baby ninja needs to know. To top it off, she received a blueprint for the Boltor Prime, which she still enjoys using today.
The story of Patrick proves that there are nice teammates not only in online shooters: After Patrick and his group played League of Legends intensively for a winter and reached a Gold rating together, a teammate gifted each one from the group a special skin for the champion with which they performed best before Christmas.
