Starting with great swords, through bow guns and energy blades to exotic weapons like the insect glaive: There’s something for everyone!
Which weapon does the Mein-MMO team prefer to carve their way through the world of MHW?
Leya has a preference for the insect glaive!
The insect glaive has impressed Leya with high mobility, diverse gameplay, and the ability to jump onto monsters.
“It’s so much fun to jump on the monster and unleash combos!”
The fact that you can customize the kinsect is another cool feature of the insect glaive.
You have the option to give the kinsect different elements and status properties.
The element of the kinsect can even completely differ from the element of the weapon. This gives the weapon a lot of flexibility.
Echo prefers dual blades
In RPGs and action games, I have always preferred “rogue-like” classes. The gameplay often associates high mobility and fast combos with acrobatic moves.
Therefore, I instantly took a liking to the dual blades in Monster Hunter World. I was able to get accustomed to it easily and the weapon felt really good in combat.
It’s really fun to zip around monsters with high mobility and target different body parts.
The Demon Mode is also a really cool feature. If you time it right while the enemy is on the ground, you can deal a lot of damage!
The fast wear and small range can be annoying at times, but it’s still by far my favorite weapon type.
