The YouTuber Jonas Ems is happy about the words of Twitch streamer Erik “Gronkh” Range, as he briefly talks about his TV series. This fulfills a wish of his, he says.
Who is it about? The content creator Jonas Ems started his career as a YouTuber. For years, he uploaded content on various topics, mostly with a humorous touch. At some point, he completely abandoned his usual content and devoted his YouTube channel to animal protection and educating about important societal issues.
But Jonas Ems is not only successful on the internet. In 2019, he published his novel Schattenseite, which dealt with the topic of cybercrime in a fictional scenario. The book was adapted into an ARD series of the same name with a total of 6 episodes this year. Gronkh mentioned a few words about this series, which made Jonas Ems happy.

What does Gronkh say? Gronkh was a guest on the podcast Henke’s Corner, where he talked about how he came up with the name Gronkh among other things. Henke’s Corner is part of the network funk from the public broadcasters. At the end of the podcast, the trailer for the series Schattenseite was linked and announced by the host Henke.
Gronkh then says: “Schattenseite, folks. Now click on Schattenseite.” (Source: YouTube). It may not be much, but it seemed to mean more to Jonas Ems. In his video, which he made after the clip, he says:

The YouTuber continues, saying that Gronkh is his “absolute favorite YouTuber” and means a lot to him, as he consumed a lot of content from him as a child. He still remembers how, during tough school times, he sat in front of the PC with 5-minute cups and watched a Let’s Play of Gronkh. That was his “inner peace.”
By mentioning his series Schattenseite, the Twitch streamer made him very happy and put a “smile on his face, like in old times,” says Jonas Ems.
