The Temple of the Moon
Also falling into the category of “timelessly beautiful” is the Temple of the Moon in the night elf capital Darnassus. Even though mages now reside there (these night elves… they never learn), the music and atmosphere of the temple already convey before entering that this is an important sanctuary. A few years ago, I was as happy as a soy schnitzel when I first saw the NPC “Tyrande Whisperwind”, whom I had only known from Warcraft 3 until then – this ensured that this place is still firmly anchored in my memory.
