When a really good player meets one of the developers in Mordhau , it promises an interesting fight. In this case, however, the developer was properly beaten and retaliated with a kick from the server.
Who fought there? The streamer GIRU fought in a duel against the developer Crush. GIRU is considered one of the best Mordhau players overall. He regularly streams his adventures in the sword fighting game on Twitch, where he averages between 300 and 400 viewers (via sullygnome).
This is how the fight went: GIRU and Crush faced each other on a duel server, where no one else was fighting except the two opponents. Such servers are often set up by the community, but have also been officially available since the end of August.
The fight was somewhat unequal. Crush came in full plate armor with a heavy polearm, a berdysch. GIRU, on the other hand, opted for simple peasant clothing and one of the weapons that can really humiliate opponents: a frying pan.
After a few exchanges, Crush finally goes down. GIRU acknowledges his victory with a casual “GG” before he receives the message that he has been kicked from the server. This causes him and his chat to burst into laughter.
