The famous German streamer Marcel “MontanaBlack” Eris is known for his openness on Twitch. He has no problem farting into his microphone or talking about intimate topics. In a stream, MontanaBlack cleverly demonstrates how to bypass Twitch’s guidelines while still discussing sensitive subjects: One uses car analogies.
What experiences does MontanaBlack have with Twitch bans?
- His longest ban lasted 33 days, after he chased women in Malta with grunting noises and observed another lady from a balcony with his camera.
- Another time, the streamer was banned because he had a verbal outburst while playing FIFA with a friend.
- When MontanaBlack talked about sex in a stream and made obvious implications while using gestures to illustrate how he had sex with women, he was banned from Twitch for 3 days.
But MontanaBlack seems to have learned from his mistake because now the 34-year-old skillfully avoids the topic of sex to avoid being banned again.
MontanaBlack described his experience with a viewer in an adventurous way
What did MontanaBlack say? In a clip from a stream uploaded to YouTube, he reported how he took a viewer to his hotel room at Gamescom.
When he started to describe the actual act, he made use of his extensive car knowledge.
MontanaBlack described it all with “bursting tires,” a “Lamborghini,” and a “garage.” A potency supplement he took he called “Nitro.”
During this, he had to hold back strongly not to make any visual allusions with his hands.
What do Twitch’s guidelines say? The platform does not allow overly revealing outfits or any explicit sexual content in streams. Sexual content already includes re-enactments or obvious activities related to sex.
Twitch has now broadly formulated its guidelines regarding such topics and has created a list that contains examples that illustrate the exact prohibitions. It is prohibited to:
- disseminate sexually explicit content
- focus the camera on breasts, the genital area or the butt
- simulate sexual acts or sexual stimulation
- provide detailed descriptions of sexual acts
Previously, MontanaBlack had explicitly violated these rules with his insinuations in a stream. With the words “parking” and “backing up,” MontanaBlack now described his wild experiences in a way that allowed him to avoid a ban by Twitch.
Speaking of bans, another Twitch streamer did not take her ban very well:
