What we know about the Hellish Zinogre
Who is the Hellish Zinogre? The monster is a subspecies of the regular Zinogre, which first appeared in Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. Zinogre quickly became a favorite among fans due to its unusual combat style – the monster charges itself electrically with bugs.
The Hellish Zinogre will be located in the endgame area, Leitlande.
This is how the Hellish Zinogre fights: The regular Zinogre belongs to the Thunder element, while the Hellish Zinogre uses the Dragon element for its attacks. Just like the Zinogre, its subspecies draws its power from bugs. These hover around its body like glowing red orbs and can be fired directly at hunters. Upon contact, they explode.
The Hellish Zinogre is said to be stronger in attack and have more health than the regular Zinogre. It is also expected to have new moves that are still unknown.

When does the Hellish Zinogre arrive? On December 5, the monster will be released. It is part of the second free DLC of Monster Hunter World: Iceborne.
The expansion is currently only available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The expansion Iceborne will come to Steam on January 2, 2020 and thus to PC. When exactly the updates for PC that have already appeared on consoles will arrive is still unknown.
On December 4, a developer stream about the second update and the Hellish Zinogre is scheduled to follow.
