The Great Spring Blossom Festival is coming to an end in Monster Hunter World. If you want to get all the special armors and weapons available now, you should hurry. What you should still do before the festival ends, you can find out here.
In Astera, everything is currently focused on spring and the gathering place is beautifully decorated. The Spring Blossom Festival mainly features events and rewards, such as new gear or a cute costume for the lucky pig Poogie. However, spring will not be celebrated in Monster Hunter World for much longer.
The Spring Festival Ends on April 19th
This Thursday, on April 19th, the Spring Blossom Festival will disappear from the game again. So you have only a few days left to snag the special rewards from the festival. While it is likely that many of the current contents will return to Monster Hunter World, there is no guarantee, and it’s also uncertain when they will return.
If you want to be on the safe side, use the remaining festival days to get the special armors, outfits, and weapons.

Get Special Event Armors for Hunters and Palicos
Through the spring event, you can currently acquire special armors for yourself and your cat companion. These include special Spring Blossom Festival armors and armors from previous events. Most of them can be obtained by completing quests.
Farm Blossom Set for the Hunter with Tickets
During the event, you can obtain the cheerful Blossom Set, which consists of several armor pieces. To craft the pieces, you will need Spring Blossom Tickets. The armor is available once for low rank and high rank.
This is required for crafting the entire Blossom Set α (High Rank)
- 15 x Spring Blossom Ticket (Each armor piece requires 3 tickets)
- 8 x Karbolite Ore
- 20,000 Zenny
This is required for crafting the entire Blossom Set (Low Rank)
- 5 x Spring Blossom Ticket (Each armor piece requires 1 ticket)
- 8 x Earth Crystal
- 7,500 Zenny

Farm Butterfly Set for the Palico with Tickets
Your Palico also has a special armor that you can unlock with Spring Blossom Tickets. This is also available for low rank and high rank.
This is required for crafting the entire Butterfly Set α (High Rank)
- 3 x Spring Blossom Ticket
- 1 x Dragonite Crystal
This is required for crafting the entire Butterfly Set (Low Rank)
- 3 x Spring Blossom Ticket
- 3 x Earth Crystal

How to Get Spring Blossom Tickets
- 1 x Ticket for daily login
- 1 x Ticket for limited bounties. These currently take place daily, after the festival they will be weekly.
If you only start collecting your tickets in the last week of the spring festival, unfortunately, you will not be able to unlock everything available for the tickets. Still, it may be worth collecting the tickets, as the event will likely return at some point, and then you will have a few tickets in stock.
Challenge “Vespoids Infestation” for Butterfly/King Beetle Set
Another armor, specifically from the spring event, can be obtained from the “Vespoids Infestation” challenge. This quest takes place in the special arena, and you only need to kill 30 Vespoids there. From the quest, you will receive “Spring Insect Encyclopedia” tickets with which you can craft the armor.
For the entire armor, you will need 5 x “Spring Insect Encyclopedia” tickets and other materials such as Vespoid Shells and Monster Fluid. In the lower image, you can see the male version of this armor (Butterfly), on the far left, and the female one (King Beetle), on the far right. These armors are only available at low rank. However, since this armor can be farmed quickly, you can still get it before the event ends.

Ryu from “Street Fighter” and Aloy from “Horizon Zero Dawn”
If you haven’t had the chance yet, you can once again get the complete sets of Ryu and Aloy. These armors are one-pieces and not mixable. Also included is the Watcher Armor for the Palico, which also belongs to Horizon Zero Dawn. This makes the Palico look like one of the large machines.
This time, Ryu’s armor can be obtained at the spring festival if you do not have a save file from Street Fighter 5. That was not the case before. The Horizon Zero Dawn armor remains exclusive to PlayStation 4.
It is not known when these two armors will return to Monster Hunter World. So if you urgently want them, you should quickly use the event.
In these quests, you can find the crossover armors:
- Lessons of the Wilderness – Watcher Armor for the Palico
- A Dark, Muddy Path – Ryu’s armor
- The Trial – Aloy’s armor

Although the usefulness of different armors is often disputed, they are only available in limited quantities. One could say they have a certain collector’s value. If you want to have the complete collection, you should quickly get these armors before the event ends.
Definitely Get Wyvern Ignition! This Greatsword is Impressive
If you haven’t done it yet, definitely get the event greatsword. It has turned out that Wyvern Ignition is one of the strongest weapons in the game. The greatsword simply has remarkable values:
- Rarity: 7
- Attack: 1008
- Affinity: -15%
- Element: Fire (510)
- Slots: 2x Level 1
- Sharpness: White
Even if you are currently not a greatsword player, that can always change. Or the sword is a good reason to start using this weapon.
The design of Wyvern Ignition is also something special, as it was created in a fan competition by Capcom.
It may also be worth farming the greatsword multiple times if you want to augment it differently.

Talk to the Lucky Pig Poogie
The little piglet that you encounter in Astera has received a new outfit for spring. Normally, you need to pick up Poogie and carry him through the town to get costumes.
If you want to see Poogie in a cute bee costume, you just need to talk to the little pig while the Spring Festival is still running. Then you will automatically receive the costume.

Get Special Helmets like the Wobble Worm
Until the Spring Festival, Monster Hunter World had already had several quests where you could obtain special helmets. These are back for the duration of the event. Therefore, if you are still missing a special helmet, you can complete the corresponding mission now. It is not known when these helmets will return to the game.
In these quests, you can find the special helmets of Monster Hunter World:
- Egg Lovers Unite – Kulu-Ya-Ku Head
- Apple of My Eye – Shadow Sunglasses
- Let it Jiggle! – Wobble Worm Head

Snag Crowns, Electricity Stones, Blue Tracks, and Other Rarities
If you want the special features from the spring festival, you should navigate through the quests mentioned above by April 19th. Also, don’t forget that for some quests there are still guaranteed small and large gold crowns or an increased chance of obtaining them. Some quests also have rewards such as traces of tempered Elder Dragons or Electricity Stones.
Which rare rewards you can get exactly can be seen in our overview of the event loot: The rewards of the Spring Festival event quests in Monster Hunter World.
Currently, the event quest is also taking place, where your Palico becomes Mega-Man. For this, you still have until April 27th.
