In Monster Hunter World the update 3.02 is now available for download on PS4 and update 3.0.0.2 on Xbox One. This update only addresses bugs that caused issues with the Kulve Taroth quest, the Wyvern Ignition, and data collection from the First Wyverian. Read the patch notes here.
The new update for Monster Hunter World fixes minor bugs that partly led to major problems. There was a rather specific bug that made it impossible for some hunters to start the new siege quest with Kulve Taroth. This is particularly frustrating for those hunters, as the quest has a time limit and will be removed from the game on May 3.
Below are the patch notes from update 3.02 / 3.0.0.2.

Strange bug regarding Kulve Taroth has been fixed – The quest now starts correctly for everyone
To start the Kulve Taroth quest, the golden tracks of the Elder Dragons must first be found. Those who collected their gold shards for the first time and spoke with the Admiral in the field in between while participating in another player’s quest may have encountered a “game-breaking” bug. This involves quests like “A Wound and a Desire.”
Players who met these requirements were unable to continue the Kulve Taroth quest. If hunters spoke directly with the Admiral in the city of Astera after finding the gold shards, they were safe from this bug.
Couldn’t start the Kulve Taroth quest? Just return to Astera after the update and talk to the Admiral there. This triggers a council scene after which the Kulve Taroth siege becomes available.

Greatsword “Wyvern Ignition” now has the correct values
Wyvern Ignition is currently considered one of the strongest weapons in Monster Hunter World. Due to a minor bug, the sword was slightly weakened. The update fixed a bug where the value of the fire element attack for “impact” was unintentionally reduced to 240. This value has now been reset to 510 and is thus correct.
The data with the First Wyverian is being gradually reset
Starting today, April 26, the data with the First Wyverian will be gradually reset due to a correction. Some bugs have been fixed here that relate to data collection for statistical summaries when hunters speak with the First Wyverian. This includes weapon usage and the number of monsters killed.
As a result, the First Wyverian will not display statistical information for a while. After the process is completed, the statistical data may be slightly inaccurate for a short time.

Required storage for the update:
- PlayStation 4: Approximately 82 MB
- Xbox One: Approximately 75 MB
By the way, the Japanese girl Sakura from Street Fighter will soon be in Monster Hunter World.
