Monster Hunter World (PS4 and Xbox One) is getting a new patch 1.05 (1.0.0.10 on Xbox). And finally, there’s a date for the long-awaited quest for the armor and weapon of Aloy from Horizon: Zero Dawn.
In Monster Hunter World, the new patch 1.05 is available. On Xbox, the patch is referred to as 1.0.0.10. The patch is only 82 megabytes in size on PS4 and brings a number of bug fixes.
Now you won’t lose any more decorations, certain quests will no longer disappear, the bowgun received a nerf, and a rare bug that caused you to lose control of your hero has been fixed.
And the annoying Gift Package Bug is also history.
The patch notes for 1.05/1.0.0.10
PS4 changes:
- There was a problem where the error message “Failed to receive hunt group information. Please wait and try again later.” was displayed and hunt group functions were not usable. This problem has been resolved, but the hunt group data of the affected players had to be reset. Players whose hunt group leader was affected by the data reset will find that the corresponding data will disappear upon their next login. We sincerely apologize for these inconveniences and request that hunt groups be founded again and players whose data was deleted be invited back.
- There was a problem where, in rare cases, uninvited non-hunt group members could join a hunt group online session, or hunt group members could not join. This problem has been resolved, but players outside a hunt group can continue to join hunt group online sessions via friend invitations or by searching using the online session ID.
Changes for PS4 and Xbox One:
- There was a problem where some players could not receive the “5-Million Item Package”. This problem has been fixed, and the availability has been extended until February 22 at 11:59 PM (UTC).
- There was a problem where decorations were lost under certain circumstances. This problem has been resolved.
- There was a problem that occurred when items were selected via the “Sell Items” option (from the item box in a base camp tent); this problem has been fixed.
- The following adjustments were made to the bowgun ammunition:
Increased power of Normal (I, II, III), Piercing (I, II, III), as well as all elemental ammunition types except for Dragon.
Reduced power of Cut and a lesser effect when other players are hit with it. - The maximum number of slot berries in the item pouch has been reduced from 60 to 30.
Players currently with more than 30 berries can use them until the number falls to the reduced maximum. - The Elder Seal calculation for Dragon Pods has been adjusted.
- There was a problem where information about native creatures disappeared from the area map when you were wandering around in the field. This problem has been resolved.
- There was a problem where the quest “Flying Sparks: Tobi-Kadachi” did not appear on the quest board when you embarked on another quest during a conversation with the chief botanist, just before this quest was first assigned to you. This problem has been resolved.
- There was a rare problem where players lost control of their character after completing a quest while certain submenus of the main menu were open. This problem has been resolved.
Additionally, there were various minor bug fixes. However, there were even more interesting details with the patch.
Aloy’s armor and bow in Horizon: Zero Dawn quest
Sony and Capcom have made a deal, which is why there are content from Horizon: Zero Dawn in Monster Hunter World. So far, you could turn your Palico into a Robo-cat after a special quest.
Now the date for the quest for the Aloy skin and her bow is known. So, anyone who wants to go monster hunting as the red-haired heroine from Horizon can complete a quest between February 28 and March 16, 2018, to obtain the blueprints for the armor and the bow. This will completely change your appearance to that of Aloy, even as a man!
However, this is only possible on the PlayStation 4, as Horizon: Zero Dawn was exclusively released for Sony’s console.
