Monster Hunter World has received a new update: Patch 1.03 (PS4) and Patch 1.0.0.8 (Xbox One). The update is supposed to solve the matchmaking issues on Xbox and also brings some bug fixes for both consoles. Here are the patch notes.
Since the release of Monster Hunter World, Xbox players have been struggling with issues in multiplayer. Most players on Microsoft’s console encountered an error message whenever they tried to start the multiplayer mode.
The matchmaking has been fixed on Xbox One
With the Xbox patch 1.0.0.8, the issues should now be a thing of the past. All matchmaking functions are now fixed, which are:
- Matchmaking
- Filter search
- Search for hunting group sessions
- Respond to SOS (emergency flares)
Patch notes: PS4 & Xbox both receive bug fixes
Both consoles had a few bugs that have now been eliminated:
- Research points are now counted correctly. The bounty quests and research points previously caused issues.
- 2 issues with the Hunting Horn have been fixed:
- Players could sometimes not cancel the roll when playing “Encore” (Encore).
- Sometimes the shockwave did not trigger when a song was played.
The patch is already live on both consoles and ready for download.
