On March 23, a new event quest rotation has begun in Monster Hunter World. Here you can find out what rewards you can earn in the new weekly quests and why “Delivery Monitoring” is especially worthwhile.
In Monster Hunter World, there is a rotation of limited events every week, offering various tasks for hunters. Of course, it mostly involves hunting the different monsters that roam around. Some of these events also have special rewards like the Wobbling Worm Helmet, which makes it worth accepting the event quests.
In the rotation from March 23 to 30, there is an inconspicuous delivery quest that is definitely worth your time.
Farming Easy Investigations for Elder Dragons
At the moment, there are three event quests that you can participate in, and one of them is:
- “Delivery Monitoring”
- Goal: Deliver 10 Blue Beryls
- Requirement: Hunter Rank 50 or higher
- Special Reward: Investigations for Elder Dragons
It is noticeable that the quest “Delivery Monitoring” has a requirement of Hunter Rank 50, which is quite high for an ordinary delivery quest. This is because you will find traces of Elder Dragons everywhere here. By reading the traces, you will unlock investigations for Elder Dragons.
What’s So Great About Traces of Elder Dragons?
With investigations of Elder Dragons, you farm so-called Warrior and Hero Stones, which you need to augment your equipment. This improves your gear beyond the maximum. Currently, this is the endgame of Monster Hunter World, where it is quite challenging to obtain the special stones.
Just take a few rounds through the Ancient Forest, where the event quest takes place, and diligently collect traces here.
The other two event quests currently available have lower requirements:
- “Greeting the Gajau”
- Goal: Hunt a Pukei-Pukei, Paolumu, and Great Jagras
- Requirement: Hunter Rank 6 or higher
- Special Reward: Meal Voucher
- “Bone All the Way Through”
- Goal: Hunt a Radobaan and Odogaron
- Requirement: Hunter Rank 8 or higher
- Special Reward: None
