On October 10, Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will receive its first DLC. In addition to the monster Rajang, it is also expected to introduce a new region to the Guiding Lands.
What will the new region be like? Only one week remains until the release of the first free Iceborne DLC on consoles on October 10. According to Gematsu, the description of the DLC has appeared in the PS4 system and it mentions a new region that is likely to open in the Endgame area Guiding Lands.
It is said to be a hot “volcanic region”, which stands in stark contrast to the snowy theme of the Iceborne expansion. There, you will find new items that you can use to customize and enhance your gear.
What else is included in the update? Players can look forward to one of the favorite monsters from previous Monster Hunter games: Rajang. The feared Fanged Beast is known among veteran hunters for its sheer power and aggression.

The description in the PS4 system also mentions that a new social feature will come to Monster Hunter with the update. The update will allow you to visit your friends’ rooms and listen to the soundtrack of MHW with the new music player.
