Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is getting a new crossover event tomorrow for PS4 and Xbox One. The event related to Resident Evil 2 brings Raccoon City into the new world. One of the rewards even lets you bite monsters yourself.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is the first expansion of the game for PS4 and Xbox One. While PC players have to wait until January, a crossover is back on consoles.
This crossover event is about: This time the event brings the heroes Leon, Claire, and the Tyrant from Resident Evil 2 into the new world. But that’s not all, you can also transform yourself into a monster-biting zombie.
When does the event start? Tonight at 1 AM, on November 8th, you can dive into the chaos.
Unleash your zombie
These gestures you can earn: Of course, it wouldn’t be Resident Evil if you didn’t encounter zombies. In the crossover in Monster Hunter World, however, you are the undead! You can expect two earnable gestures.
One lets you bite like a zombie. And you even deal damage with it. You can now make the monsters in Iceborne taste their own medicine and take a good bite out of them.
With the other gesture, you can crawl and shuffle like a zombie. Really nice and stinky.

These armor sets are waiting for you: You can also earn equipment through the crossover. This time you need to collect new materials to get the armor sets Leon α+ and Claire α+.
This is how you can beautify your weapons: In Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, there’s the possibility to decorate your weapons with charms. During the Resident Evil 2 event, you can earn three of these charms.
This is what you get for your room: Your own room won’t be forgotten either. You will receive decorations related to Resident Evil. On one hand, you’ll get the iconic typewriter. On the other hand, the item box that you can also use as such.
This additional DLC is also available: In addition to the earnable rewards, you can also purchase something. If you want to spend money, you can put your wilderness expert into a Tyrant costume. Then it will also cook for you – spooky, right?
What are the requirements for the event? To participate in the crossover with Resident Evil 2, you only need to have reached Master Rank 20. Then you can accept the missions for the event.
What does the quest include? If you meet the requirements, you just have to go to your quest board or your partner. The mission is called “RE: Return of the Bioweapon.” To complete it, you need to kill a Velum Vaal Hazak. Your clients are an “eccentric trio.”

What’s waiting for you in November: For PS4 players, the crossover with Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds starts on November 21. There, you can once again follow in the steps of Aloy, the heroine of the game.
These updates are coming at the end of the year: In December, a new, yet unrevealed monster will await you.
