The data miners have discovered the status values of the new great sword “Wyvern Ignition” in Monster Hunter: World and they really know what they’re doing: It seems like a particularly strong weapon is coming to Monster Hunter World.
Only a few days remain until the Spring Festival in Monster Hunter World, which brings new content and gives players the opportunity to catch up on some missed quests.
However, along with the more cosmetic items like emotes and costumes, the special great sword “Wyvern Ignition” will also be implemented in the game on April 6th.
And now we also know what status values it will most likely have.
Design winner celebrated
Capcom has previously held fan contests several times to make the best weapon designs available in their Monster Hunter games.
And in Monster Hunter: World, they have also followed the tradition. The fans wanted a fancy and cool weapon and they are getting it now with the great sword “Wyvern Ignition”.
For a long time, it was not known what status values the great sword would have, and there was concern that the stylish sword might be of little use in the late game.
However, if we believe the latest info leak, then these concerns are unfounded, as the status values of Wyvern Ignition make it one of the best great swords in Monster Hunter World.
The user “Rhapsodos” has published several screenshots of the weapon on Reddit, which has the following final status values:
- Rarity: 7
- Attack: 1008
- Affinity: -15%
- Element: Fire (510)
- Slots: 2x Level 1
- Sharpness: White
The weapon will have a base version “Wyvern Ignition Steel”, which can be upgraded in one step to the final version “Wyvern Ignition Impact”, similar to the Demonjo sword.
However, it is still not known what materials are needed for the piece, and hunters will have to wait a few more days until the quest for the weapon is available.
It is about the following event quest:
- Name: Dream of a Hunter
- Requirements: JR 8 or higher
- Location: Arena
- Objective: Hunt all target monsters
The Spring Festival will go online on April 6th and will end two weeks later on April 19th.
Spring outfit is not a jumpsuit
Somewhat less exciting are the status values of the spring outfit, which will also be available with the event.
This time, the event clothes are not a jumpsuit, like the Ryu or Aloy outfits, but simply consist of 5 different unisex armor pieces.
But in this case, Capcom also seems to be following the usual pattern and thematically adapting the set to spring with abilities like “Honey Hunter”.
However, in terms of status values, it is rather a low rank set, which should no longer be a surprise. With a total of 10 jewel slots, the outfit can, however, be modified.
